Guadua
angustifolia Bicolor (Striped Guadua)
This bamboo is native to South America and is one of the largest bamboos
of the Americas. It is a thorny variety of bamboo and has many
commercial applications in construction. More importantly for the
gardener, it is an impressive ornamental bamboo in the landscape, with
striking, random yellow striping on dark green canes. Also known as
G. angustifolia Striata.
