This bamboo lives up to its name.  It is truly a gigantic bamboo - one of the largest varieties in the world, getting up to 100 feet tall, canes up to a foot in diameter, with leaves almost two feet long, in its native home of Burma.  This bamboo makes an impressive statement in the landscape.
